Best World T20 XI from ICC Twenty20 World Cup 2016

The Best out of the Best

Indian dreams have come to an unexpected end at the Wankhede against West Indies who are stronger in this format as compared to other teams. Even the onslaught by Kohli couldn’t save team India this time as it was perceived by many that one day it’s not gonna be enough. Maybe Indian openers are slow starters, maybe those two no balls to Simmons were the reason but cricket is not a game of if’s and but’s at the end its the result that matters.

Team India was slightly off target, however they should be proud of their performance in this tournament. Indian team won really close matches against Bangladesh and Australia and destroyed Pakistan.

This world cup has seen classy chases, destructive opening and ferocious bowling spells, such contrast was rarely seen in any world cup played so far in any format. Its difficult to pick eleven players from such a diverse tournament, however below is an attempt to form the best T-20 team of World Cup 2016 and pick up the best performances.
