Colwyn Bay cricketer Shrikant Mundhe made history by becoming the first Liverpool Competition Premier League bowler to take all 10 wickets in an innings when he destroyed Birkenhead Park’s batting at Penrhyn Avenue, England on 29th August 2016.
The Maharashtra all-rounder is only the first bowler to take 10 wickets in an innings since the inception of the league in 1999.
Mundhe has earlier also played in the Indian Premier League (IPL) for now defunct Pune Warriors India.
Like Mundhe many other Indian players have achieved this record in past. Railways pacer Karan Thakur, Haryana bowler Pradeep Sahu, Delhi’s spinner Vikas Dixit, Tripura pacer Timir Chanda and Indian bowler Debashish Mohanty have already done this magic in past.
Subhash Gupte, Premangsu Chatterjee, and Pradeep Sunderam are few bowlers who achieved this feat even before Team India’s present coach Anil Kumble.
