There are several cricketers whose inspirational lives deserve a biopic. Fans are eagerly waiting for films on MS Dhoni and Sachin Tendulkar to release this year and the former Australian cricketer Adam Gilchrist‘s career graph also calls for one.
The former hard-hitting wicket-keeper batsman has been a part of Australia’s squad which registered 3 wins in ICC ODI World Cup Finals -1999, 2003 and 2007. He also lead the previous IPL franchisee Deccan Chargers to lift the trophy in 2009.
Recently, Gilly revealed that he would like Hrithik Roshan to play his role in Bollywood if his life were ever to be made into a film.
Gilchrist wants the American actor and filmmaker George Clooney to play his role in Hollywood. “I’m not even for a moment suggesting that I’m as good looking as Clooney, but I think he brings to the table a level of sophistication and suave that I quite like. From Bollywood, it would be nice to have someone as good looking as Hrithik Roshan to play me,” he said with a laugh.
Earlier, Glenn McGrath came up with his Bollywood pick who can portray his role. He wants Akshay Kumar to portray his role in his biopic.
