On the 4th day of the second Test match played between India and New Zealand at the Eden Gardens, Kolkata, Team India’s wicket-keeper batsman Wriddhiman Saha scored a brilliant half-century.
As soon as he completed his 50, he was applauded by Virat Kohli, Cheteshwar Pujara, Umesh Yadav and others who were standing in the dressing room’s balcony.
He batted with the tailenders and made sure that his team sets a match-winning total against the opponents on the wicket where the ball was getting uneven bounce.
Saha remained not out on 58 at the end of 2nd innings as India set the target of 376 for the visitors.
Lately, New Zealand was bowled out for 197 runs by the Indian bowling unit and India clinched the series by 2-0 with a match to be played at Indore.
