An FIR has been filed against Sakshi Dhoni, wife of India’s limited-overs captain MS Dhoni. The FIR has been filed by Denis Arora against Sakshi and three others under the Indian Penal Code (IPC) Section 420 in a fraud case.
Arora has alleged that he bought shares in Rhiti MSD Almode Pvt. Ltd., a firm directed by Sakshi Dhoni, Arun Pandey, Shubhawati Pandey and Pratima Pandey, has shares in Sportsfit World, a gym and fitness centre, co-directed by Arora.
According to several reports, Dennis Arora also had 39 percent shares in the same fitness centre, which he later sold to the directors of Rhiti MSD Almode.
After the transfer of shares, an agreement between the two parties was signed and as per that the directors of Rhiti MSD Almode, including Sakshi, were required to pay an amount of Rs 11 crores to Arora by March 31 this year.
Arora has now said that he has received an amount of Rs 2.25 crore so far.
The sports agency Rhiti MSD Almode Pvt. Ltd. is linked with the recently released movie ‘M.S. Dhoni : The Untold Story’ as well. Arun Pandey, one of the co-producers of the movie and one of the directors of the company, has said that they have already paid the dues for the shares that Arora transferred.
Pandey added that Sakshi had left the company, Rhiti MSD Almode Pvt. Ltd., almost a year ago and the case could not be registered against her. Moreover, as the case is pending for arbitration after the Delhi High Court’s order, no FIR should have been registered.
Sakshi has so far not reacted to the allegations. Police are investigating the matter and at the moment there is no confirmation of Sakshi’s involvement in the case.
