Akanksha Sharma, who is the lawfully wedded wife of Zorawar Singh, Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh‘s younger brother, is raising eyebrows with her confessions on the Indian TV reality show the ‘Bigg Boss’.
Akanksha was married to Zoravar for four months. However, the couple has been estranged for nearly two-and-a-half years ago.

Akanksha also revealed on Bigg Boss 10 grand premiere that the problems were not between her and Zoravar or Yuvraj, but with their mother Shabnam Singh. Akanksha said she will soon get a divorce, and her purpose for coming on the show — when Salman Khan quizzed her about it — was to start life afresh after a bad marriage.
After 4 months, Akanksha decided to walk out of the house. She didn’t exactly reveal the details behind her marriage failure. But she indirectly accused her mother-in-law, Shabnam Singh, for the failed marriage. She accused Shabnam Singh of ill-treating her. She also allegedly accused her former mother-in-law of forcing her to get pregnant.
Shabnam Singh, Yuvraj Singh’s mother, was quick to rebuff these claims. She quoted the law, saying, “First of all, this matter is sub judice and she (Akanksha) is not allowed to speak. It goes under the contempt of court. There’s a special petition I had filed. Anyone can understand the agenda here and everybody knows it. We are not allowed to speak on this matter.”
Akanksha also said that she was at the lowest point after the marriage and she wants freedom now. She was also disappointed by her marriage, she married the family thinking it’s a cricketer’s home. She also made it clear that she has no complaints against her husband or Yuvraj, she doesn’t want any money from Yuvraj’s family.
