Fans have already seen two biopics on Indian cricketers — Azhar based on the struggling life Mohammad Azharuddin and M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story, which is based on MS Dhoni‘s journey from the childhood to his becoming the World Cup winning captain.
And now, Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor has expressed his desire to work in the biopic of Indian dashing all-rounder Yuvraj Singh because his cricketing career, affairs with Bollywood actresses and controversial issues are quite interesting.
While promoting his upcoming movie ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ on Star Sports, the official broadcaster of India vs New Zealand ODI series, Ranbir said : “Like I mentioned earlier, Yuvraj Singh. I think he has had an interesting story.”
He further revealed that his fondest cricket memory was to see Sachin Tendulkar bat and added that he like Dhoni as a person.
“I like Dhoni, the person. Because I’ve had the good fortune of interacting with him on a couple of ad films. I’ve met him socially also. I think he’s a top guy. Extremely humble, extremely focused and a really good guy. He’s got good energy, positive. So I would only score the human being higher,” he added.
