Indian Test skipper Virat Kohli has been a consistent performer in each and every format this year.
Like many others, the former opening batsman Virender Sehwag also loves the kind of aggression and positive attitude that Kohli has brought in to the Test side, which he has been leading since mid 2015.
Therefore, the ‘Nawab of Najafgarh’ has made a really interesting comparison to describe Kohli’s talent.
Speaking at the Goregaon Sports Club during the launch of their cricket league’s second season, Sehwag said:
“I think Virat Kohli should change his name to baadal (cloud). Upar aasmaan me baadal chaaye rehte hain, aur neeche maidaan pe Virat Kohli (The way clouds light up the sky above us, Virat Kohli lights up the cricket field).”
Well, Viru is not wrong in saying that.
