BCCI Annual Contracts: Salary Details of Indian Cricketers

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced the renewal of annual contracts of Indian cricketers on Thursday.

The BCCI has now doubled the annual retainer fee for the players in central contracts, while increasing the match fee. Grade A, B and C contracted players will now receive amounts of Rs. 2 crore, Rs. 1 crore and Rs. 50 lakh per annum, respectively.
Cheteshwar Pujara, Ravindra Jadeja and Murali Vijay have been promoted to Grade A where they join MS Dhoni,  Virat Kohli, Ravichandran Ashwin and Ajinkya Rahane.

The biggest name missing in the 32 players list is of Suresh Raina, who till recently was a permanent member of Team India in the limited overs format.

The match fees enhancements will be effective from the period starting October 1, 2016. An amount of Rs 15 lakhs per Test, Rs 6 lakhs per ODI and Rs 3 lakhs for T20 International will be paid to the players.

Retainer amount: Rs 1 crore

Match fees: Rs 15 lakh for Test, Rs 6 lakh for ODI and Rs 3 lakh for T20I

GRADE C

Shikhar Dhawan, Ambati Rayudu, Amit Mishra, Manish Pandey, Axar Patel, Karun Nair, Hardik Pandya, Ashish Nehra, Kedar Jadhav, Yuzvendra Chahal, Parthiv Patel, Jayant Yadav, Mandeep Singh, Dhawal Kulkarni, Shardul Thakur, Rishabh Pant

Retainer amount: Rs 50 lakh

Match fees: Rs 15 lakh for Test, Rs 6 lakh for ODI and Rs 3 lakh for T20I
