Michael Vaughan picks his dream XI for ICC Champions Trophy 2017

Former England skipper Michael Vaughan has announced his dream XI for the ICC Champions Trophy 2017.

Vaughan has picked Indian captain Virat Kohli in his team to bat at number 4.

However, Kohli predecessor MS Dhoni missed out on a spot in Vaughan side as he selected his compatriot Jos Buttler instead.

About Kohli’s ordinary record in England, the Englishman wrote, “I know his record in England is not great but he is a better player than when he came here last time and like AB de Villiers he can play any kind of innings – explosive or a rebuild job. (He) copes brilliantly with pressure.”

Michael Vaughan’s dream XI:

David Warner, Quinton de Kock, Joe Root, Virat Kohli, AB de Villiers, Ben Stokes, Jos Buttler, Mitchell Starc, Kagiso Rabada, Trent Boult, Imran Tahir
