READ: Stuart Binny and Mayanti Langer’s adorable love story

A majority of the fans who watch cricket in India are familiar with the name Mayanti Langer. Over the years, Mayanti has carved a niche for herself as a sports anchor and is often seen interviewing the players. Stuart Binny, on the other hand, needs no introduction to a cricket fan.

As a part of her job, Mayanti interviewed Stuart many times and the cricketer was so mesmerized by her wit and beauty that along with sharing his experience with her, he gave away his heart too.

Stuart proposed Mayanti on the cricket field itself and from thereon began Binny’s second innings which is going strong till date.

After dating for a while, the two tied the knot in September 2012.

By then, Mayanti had hosted many football and cricket World Cups, but Stuart wasn’t playing up to his potential. And after his wedding with Mayanti, a huge change in his form took place. He started getting better on the field and he gave all the credit to his beautiful wife for that.

A player has to follow a strict routine that requires unperturbed concentration. Following the same logic, coaches often adopt the policy of not letting their players be accompanied by their family members. This became a huge concern for Stuart and Mayanti.
