Another exciting IPL season has come to an end with Sunrisers Hyderabad winning their maiden title.
Players like Mustafizur Rahman, Rishabh Pant and Marcus Stoinis, who played in their first IPL made a huge impact not only on its franchise team but also among fans watching the league across the world.
On the contrary, there were a few surprisingly poor performances in the tournament as well. There were players who fetched hefty price tags in the IPL auctions but were unable to show their cricket skills on the field and also some who didn’t get even a single chance to showcase their talent.
Here is a list of cricketers who might be released by their IPL teams:
5) Nathu Singh
a) After the IPL auction Daredevils management said that Nathu Singh was the only player they weren’t able to buy from their wish list.
b) There was a lot of things told about his bowling especially about his pace. It is a huge surprise that such talent did not get a single game.
c) With Mumbai having Bumrah, Vinay Kumar, Southee, McClenaghan and Malinga might return next IPL which makes them a great pace attack, it is unlikely that MI would retain him.
d) Only International call and scintillating performance in International arena could allow him to be in the IPL 10 squad of Mumbai Indians.
