Former Australian speedster Brett Lee was in India for the promotion of his new movie ‘UnIndian’.
In the recent episode of comedy TV show, ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ hosted by one of the best comedians in India, Kapil Sharma, Brett Lee was asked, ‘Does Australia have a special coach for Sledging ? To this, the Australian answered : At present no, but there may be. He further added, sledging if doesn’t cross boundaries is necessary and is part and parcel of the game.
Lee also said India is becoming better with sledging.
While praising Indian Test skipper Virat Kohli, the former pacer said, “If you have someone who can bat like Virat, you don’t need sledging.”
Remembering an incidence from the past he shared with Indian Cricket Team while batting, he said : Once he was called a “Kharghosh” (which means a rabbit in Hindi).
When Lee replied to rabbit incident in the second match an Indian player burst into laughter. Though Lee did not reveal what he (the Indian player) replied but he did reveal that what he (the Indian player) said was in Hindi.
