Another milestone to be created by Team India at the Eden Gardens



After 197 runs win in their 500th Test match, Indian Cricket Team will be moving to the Eden Gardens for the second match of the series against New Zealand.

At the Eden Gardens, we all have witnessed the record breaking stand between Rahul Dravid and VVS Laxman against Australia in 2001, Rohit Sharma‘s maiden Test hundred and Mohammad Shami‘s match winning performance on his debut against the West Indies in November 2013.

Now, on 30th September, another milestone will be created by Team India at this venue, as it’s going to be the 250th Test on Indian soil which makes it special.

The joint secretary of Cricket Association of Bengal has also made a statement: “Keeping the milestone Test in mind, CAB has also joined hands with Lions’ Club to bring in 4000 underprivileged children from across the state to watch the opening day and they will be seen sporting a special uniform.”
