WATCH: Virat Kohli’s heart melting message for the Indian armed forces on Diwali

On Thursday, Indian Test skipper Virat Kohli sent a heart melting message for the Indian armed forces on the auspicious occasion of Diwali.

Kohli recorded his video message for the Indian soldiers and shared it on the social media.

This is what Virat Kohli had to say:

“I, Virat Kohli, want to wish on this Diwali our jawans all the best,” he wrote on Twitter.
“I know what it means staying away from the family. The way you protect our country is worth a lot of praise.”

“My brothers, keep faith that I and the entire country will always be with you,” he added.

He also wrote on his Twitter, “Whenever you see a jawan, salute them. We get to celebrate festivals & live in peace because of them. Jai Hind #Sandesh2Soldiers.”

Sandesh2Soldiers is a noble gesture started by the government of India to pay respect to the Indian soldiers who risk their lives everyday.

Not only celebrities, but also a common man can send his/her best wishes to the Indian soldiers through different social media platforms.
