Sagarika Ghatge opens up about her relationship with Zaheer Khan

The rumours of actress Sagarika Ghatge dating former cricketer Zaheer Khan started doing the rounds when the two were seen together at the wedding ceremony of Yuvraj Singh and Hazel Keech last year. And Zaheer’s pictures with Sagarika gave way to their blossoming relationship.

So now months after the speculation, Sagarika, who will next seen in ‘Irada’, opened up on the link-up rumours with Zaheer.

In an interview to Mid-Day, Sagarika said, “Let’s just say I am in a very happy space right now. I have never spoken about my personal relationships. In fact, I have never spoken about anything to the press. Personal space is not for discussion.”

Interestingly, Sagarika played the role of a hockey player in her debut film ‘Chak De India’, where she is seen dating a cricketer.

When further asked about the pressure of dating a cricketer in real life, she added, “I will remain just the way I am: low profile as ever. Why should I be any different just because I am linked to someone? I am not the kind who can put up a farce. I have no shame in admitting that I draw into my shell easily and come out only when I have to speak. I have big respect for Zaheer’s game and before you ask, yes he will watch my film (Irada) when it releases.”
