The auction of the 10th season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) took place at Bengaluru on Monday (February 20).

Like every year, this season’s auction only got bigger and better. The most expensive foreign player and the most expensive seam bowler in IPL history was bought by the franchises this year.

England all-rounder Ben Stokes was the costliest buy of the season, going to Rising Pune Supergiants for a whopping amount of Rs 14.50 crores.
