IPL 2017: Ravindra Jadeja and Umesh Yadav set to miss starting 3 weeks

Ravindra Jadeja and Umesh Yadav, who played an extremely important role in India’s successful Test season, are likely to skip the first three weeks of the upcoming IPL.

Both Jadeja and Umesh have played an extremely important role in India’s successful Test season and were extremely busy over the past 9-10 months. Jaddu and Yadav need some rest before coming out to take the field in the IPL for their respective teams.

Ravindra Jadeja

Though any team would miss a player like Ravindra Jadeja but his team Gujarat Lions has many all-rounders so they might be able to cope with his loss. On the other hand, Kolkata Knight Riders who have built their side on the back of spinners would surely miss a pace spearhead in the form of Umesh Yadav.
