On Day 2 of the ongoing third Test between Sri Lanka and India at Kandy, India’s Hardik Pandya proved his credentials as an all-format batsman by slamming his first International century.

Pandya who came into bat at number 8 scored 108 runs off just 96 balls, becoming the fastest Indian batsman to register a ton batting at this position or lower in terms of balls played.

Also, Hardik scored 107 runs at lunch, which is the most by an Indian batsman before lunch on any day of a Test match.
