Arjun Tendulkar, the son of cricket icon Sachin Tendulkar, has been recently selected to represent Mumbai in the 5th Late Shri JY Lele All India Under-19 Invitational One Day tournament.
If Arjun does well in this tournament, he can be selected for the U-19 World Cup to be held in New Zealand next year.
Arjun had hit headlines after he gave an injury scare to England’s wicket-keeper batsman Jonny Bairstow in the practice session. He was one of the net bowlers for England and bowled a good yorker that hit Bairstow on his toe.
After his selection in the Mumbai U10 team, on last Saturday, Arjun helped his side Parel CC to draw their Kanga League B division match at Shivaji Park by batting for almost one and a half hours and also returned with bowling figures of 1 for 14 in 5 overs.
Meanwhile, let us have a look at some of the pictures that show how Arjun Tendulkar has progressed over the years.
