WATCH: David Warner wins hearts with his sportsmanship in the 4th ODI against India

Apart from his destructive batting, Australian star opener David Warner never leaves any chance to set an example of true sportsman spirit.

It doesn’t matter which team is he playing against, his dedication towards the sport remains above all and in the fourth ODI against India, Warner once again showcased that “cricket is still a gentlemen’s game.”

In his 100th ODI, Warner ruined the Indian bowling attack and scored a brilliant century. He became the first Australian player to score a century on his 100th ODI. The southpaw scored 124 off 119 balls with the help of 12 fours and four sixes.

However, when he was at the crease, one of his actions won the hearts of millions of cricket fans watching the game.

In the 28th over of the first innings, India’s all-rounder Hardik Pandya lost the grip from the ball and it slipped out of his hands. Suddenly, Warner rushed towards the ball and picked it up and gave it back to Pandya.

Well, Warner’s this activity has to be praised. Also, this is not the first that Warner helped a player from the opposite team while batting. Earlier this year, during the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2017, he helped Gujarat Lions’ bowler Basil Thampi with his shoe while taking a quick single.
