Here’s how Aamir Khan and Zaira Wasim reacted when asked to name India’s women cricket team captain

Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan and young actress Zaira Wasim were present at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Hyderabad to witness the final T20I between India vs Australia on Friday.

Ahead of the game, Aamir had a chit-chat session with Star Sports presenter Jatin Sapru and former Indian cricketer Virender Sehwag on the field. They talked about Aamir’s forthcoming film ‘The Secret Superstar’ and much more.

Shockingly, during that chat session, it was revealed that the two Bollywood stars present on the field don’t know the name of the captain of the Indian women’s cricket team. It was quite ironic as Aamir’s blockbuster movie ‘Dangal’ was aimed at promoting women athletes.

Jatin Sapru, who was anchoring the session, played a rapid-fire round with the two celebs. He asked a few cricket-related questions from both. Aamir and Zaira answered one question each correctly and then came the tie-breaker question. On being asked about the captain of the Indian Women’s Cricket Team, Aamir said, “I know but I’m not getting it now.”

After a few attempts, Aamir gave up guessing the correct name. Zaira accepted that she also doesn’t have any idea about that. Sapru too gave a hint by prompting the initials of Indian women’s cricket team captain’s name.

Finally, the TV presenter had to reveal the answer, Mithali Raj.

Talking about the T20I match between India and Australia, the game was called off due to the wet outfield conditions. After beating India in Guwahati, Australia levelled the series by 1-1 and Fridays’ game in Hyderabad was the decider of the T20I series.
