‘Dangal’ actress Zaira Wasim reveals her favourite cricketer

Bollywood stars Aamir Khan and Zaira Wasim, who were a part of the Hindi commentary team during the 3rd T20I between India and Australia in Hyderabad couldn’t give their views on the match as the play was called off due to the wet outfield but they did get the opportunity to answer a few cricket related questions.

Aamir was reportedly invited to the match by Virat Kohli after the two had recently met for a Diwali special chat show.

During a ‘Question and Answer’ session with TV presenter Jatin Sapru, Aamir was asked which Indian player’s style does he follow the most, to which he said, “It’s definitely Virat Kohli.”

Zaira also revealed her likeness towards the Indian skipper saying, “be it his way of playing the game of cricket or his attitude, Virat is very good.”

She also added that among current Indian players apart from Kohli, Hardik Pandya is her favourite. “Since he (Hardik) is an all-rounder, he either performs with the bat or bowl,” Zaira said.

Both Aamir and Zaira had come for the promotion of their upcoming movie ‘Secret Superstar’. They were earlier seen together in a Blockbuster movie ‘Dangal’, which was based on former wrestler Mahavir Singh Phogat and his two wrestler daughters struggle towards glory at the Commonwealth Games in the face of societal oppression.
