Meet Australian cricketer Josh Dunstan who scored a triple century in 34 overs

You can call it mind-boggling or mind-blowing, it’s entirely up to you but this kind of ‘run machine’ we rarely get to see.

His name is Josh Dunstan. He is a South Australian cricketer and had played an innings to remember when he smashed 40 sixes and 9 fours during his knock of 307 for West Augusta B grade in a 35-over match against Central Stirling.

With this effort, the Australian has entered the record books, as he became the first batsman since the West Indian great Viv Richards in 1984 to hit 40 sixes in an innings.

His knock of 307 helped his team reach a total of 354, with the rest of the team failing to step up.

Here is all you need to know about Josh Dunstan and the superb innings he played:

1.) Dunstan was batting at first drop for West Augusta in their B-Grade Port Augusta Cricket Association game against Central-Stirling at Braddock Park.
