Hardik Pandya has taken rapid strides in international cricket, shining with both the bat and ball, and helping India win matches with his superb performances.
The all-rounder has been rested for the upcoming Sri Lanka Test series so that he can recharge his batteries and get ready for India’s packed overseas schedule next year.
Meanwhile, in his recent interview, Hardik has quashed the reports of him quitting the Mumbai Indians franchise which made him an instant star and forged the path into the national team.
Pandya has claimed that he was upset to hear the news of him leaving the side which gave him everything in life.
“I was disappointed when I heard this news because this is false. This team has given me everything. Why would I leave it? My life changed when I got a chance to play for MI (Mumbai Indians) and then I never looked back. I had a small failure and that’s why I learned to be even more professional. You need to understand that some things are bad. That’s how you improve in life,” stated Pandya according to News18.
About learnings from MS Dhoni and Virat Kohli
“I have learned from both of them, they are amazing. I take a lot of advice from Dhoni.”
About the future goals
“I don’t have any future goals, I just want to become better every day, that’s my only goal.”
