The Sri Lankan side easily chased down the target of 113 runs set up by the Rohit Sharma led Team India at Dharamsala.

The visitors suffered an early shock after Danushka Gunathilaka was caught behind at 1 with Jasprit Bumrah taking his first wicket in the match. The bowler almost got Upul Tharanga a few overs later, but it was adjudged no ball for overstepping.

The mistake cost India with the left-hand batsman going on to scoring a fast-paced 49 runs before he became a victim to Hardik Pandya.

Later, Angelo Mathews and Niroshan Dickwella ensured that the Lankans do not lose any more wickets and took their side to a comfortable 7-wicket victory with 176 balls to go.
