Anupam Kher touched by Rohit Sharma-Ritika Sajdeh beautiful chemistry, posts a lovely message on Twitter

In the second ODI match between India and Sri Lanka in Mohali, India’s stand-in captain Rohit Sharma smashed his third ODI double century; a feat unparalleled in the history of the game.

The innings was constructed masterfully by the ‘Hitman’ of Indian cricket. Rohit reached his double ton in the 50th over, bowled by the opposition skipper Thisara Perera. His first hundred came off 115 balls, while the second off just 38 balls.

After reaching the phenomenal milestone, Rohit acknowledged the crowd and also kissed his wedding ring, to mark the perfect gift for his wife on their second marriage anniversary. His wife, Ritika was captured on camera, watching the proceedings with moist eyes and a jubilant face.

The endearing gesture between the couple was appreciated by all and actor Anupam Kher was no exception.

The actor tweeted a congratulatory message for the couple on their anniversary, lauding the “purity” of their “love story”.

“No film can capture the purity of love story of @ImRo45 and his lovely wife Ritika. So moving and so beautiful. Close-ups of both of them are magical and say so much in just those few seconds. Congratulations to both of you on your second wedding anniversary. Jai Ho.”, Kher tweeted

The third double hundred was a perfect second wedding anniversary gift from Rohit to his wife.

“I am sure she would have liked this gift from me. She is my strength and keeps supporting me. This is one good part about having your family around, we already go through a lot of stress and it makes our lives easier,” Rohit said after the match.
