Celebrity anchor Karishma Kotak to host T20 Mumbai League

The inaugural edition of the T20 Mumbai League is set to begin from March 11 with altogether six teams in the fray. All the matches are to be played at the Wankhede stadium and the tournament has seen a platform for budding youngsters across the city.

Two matches will be played every day at 3.30 PM and 7 PM, with no games scheduled on March 14.

The final is to be played on March 21. Cricket icon Sachin Tendulkar has been named as League Ambassador.

Karishma Kotak Ice Cricket Anchor

The British Indian model, actress, and anchor Karishma Kotak will be hosting the tournament. This is not her first cricketing assignment as she hosted the 6th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL), Karnataka Premier League 2016, Asian Premier League T20 2017 and most recently the Ice Cricket 2018.

Kotak was born in England and moved to India in her 20s. She has walked the ramp and appeared on the cover of some of the biggest brands in the fashion industry. Her initial ambition was to become a teacher but later realized her inclination for modeling and acting.

She won the hearts of many with her cricketing knowledging and gorgeous looks while hosting the Extra Innings T20 show during the IPL 2013 and will now be managing the affairs in the T20 Mumbai League this season.
